Pa'ina Gathering ____ typically held the 1st Saturday of each month
"Pa'ina" is Hawaiian for "party with food". Join your Newcomers Club friends for events of various kinds, to happen on weekends, and weekday evenings. It might be a "sunset party" with drinks and appetizers at a favorite watering hole.
Or dinner at a special restaurant. Or a picnic at a beach park. Or a potluck dinner at a member's home or condominium club room. For potluck events, please bring a generous dish to share and utensils if needed. Bring your own drinks (please, no red wine). If you bring a friend, please ask them to bring a dish to share, too.
These activities often include a planned program with a keynote speaker or live entertainment.

18-hole Golf _______ typically held the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
It's fun and social, as handicaps are unimportant, and the groups who tee off in the morning come together for lunch afterwards. Members play the second and fourth Mondays of each month, excluding holidays. During the year, golfers may play on as many as 9 different courses, including Ewa Beach, Pearl Country Club, Hawaii Prince, Royal Hawaiian and Turtle Bay. We negotiate special rates when possible.
A special note to Snowbirds and those who travel frequently - this is a no-commitment activity. You can play as often or as little as your schedule permits. Every skill level is represented. Because of the different course setups, men play with men, and women play with women. Nominal dues cover handicap and tracking, membership in state golf associations, and contribution towards "Most Improved Player" awards.
Fresh air, exercise, fun and food. Come join a great group of people!
To arrange to play, email us at least a week in advance so we can obtain confirmation from the golf course.
